Scared Like Me is not about my personal journey, though I was motivated to write it after I realized just how stressed most college students are.
The names of students or anyone who provided sensitive or identifying information have been replaced with false names. The processes used to keep information confidential were reviewed by an IRB. The situations and quotes in the book are all in their original form.
